Vancouver forward Elias Pettersson's rediscovered scoring touch will be put to the test when the Canucks host the road warrior New York Rangers on Tuesday night. It took a six-game homestand for Pettersson to break out of his scoring slump.

With five goals in his last seven games, Pettersson is rapidly heating up, but the Canucks fell to the Predators on Sunday night.

The Vancouver Canucks suffered their seventh home loss on the season Sunday as they fell to the Nashville Predators 5-3. Vancouver's offence came from Aatu Räty, Elias Pettersson and Kiefer Sherwood, while Kevin Lankinen stopped 16 of the 20 shots he faced.
