A woman shot in an apparent jewelry store robbery in south Sacramento late Friday morning has died, the Sacramento County Sheriff's Office confirms. According to a Sergeant Amar Gandhi, deputies responded just before noon to a jewelry store near Stockton Boulevard and 65th Street in the Little Vietnam Plaza.

A woman was shot and killed during a robbery at a jewelry store in Sacramento County on Friday, the sheriff's office said.

One person has been shot in an apparent robbery that turned violent in south Sacramento late Friday morning, authorities say.

According to the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office, it happened around 11:45 a.m. Friday along the 6800 block of Stockton Boulevard.
