Friday night’s highly anticipated fight marking Mike Tyson’s return to the ring was marred by significant streaming issues on Netflix, casting doubt on the platform’s ability to host WWE’s Raw debut in January.

Thanks to Netlix ads during the live boxing match between Mike Tyson and Jake Paul, the brand new "WWE Raw" logo was revealed for the very first time.

Streaming issues of course vary depending on multiple factors, including internet connectivity. But there were loads of viewers who experienced problems Friday night, including The Athletic ’s own media writer, Andrew Marchand, who updated his followers on Bluesky on the error message he was receiving.
